Maldives First Lady Fazna Ahmed inaugurated the “MPL Kids Care Center”, the childcare facility established by the Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), on Sunday, March 19.
The center was opened on Sunday morning as part of government’s policies on ensuring social stability, empowering women, and fostering healthy families.
MPL Kids Care Center supervises the children of the company’s staff during working hours in a safe and quality setting. The corporation said that 12 children are already registered with the center.
The center is located on Maafannu Omadhoofannu, and can accommodate 30 to 40 children. The Kids Care Center will be open from 07:00hrs until 19:00hrs excluding Fridays.
The Maldives First Lady toured the facility following its inauguration and spent time with the children.
