The Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has introduced its first-ever US Dollar ATM.
The US Dollar machine is installed in the bank’s existing ATM Center located on Orchid Magu alongside the Maldivian Rufiyaa ATM and can be used 24/7.
MIB said that platinum cardholders with US Dollar accounts opened with them can deposit and withdraw cash at the ATM. The newly installed machine will not require cash cards for transactions similar to previous ATMs.
Customers can make daily withdrawals up to USD1,000 and monthly up to USD5,000 and deposit up to USD12,000 daily.
MIB currently provides its services in Vilimale’, Hulhumale’, Thilafushi, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, GDh. Thinadhoo, and B. Eydhafushi apart from Male’ City.
