Apple opens its first retail store in India on Wednesday, April 18.
The store is located in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) district in Mumbai. The store, much like every other apple retail unit, will provide opportunities to customers to explore Apple products and services.
During the opening day, Apple will offer free sessions to the customers as well.
Moreover, the retail outlet in India is designed to be of the most energy-efficient Apple Stores in the world, with the store being operationally carbon neutral. The store relies 100% on renewable energy and has its own dedicated solar array.
Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail Deirdre O’Brien said, “At Apple, our customers are at the center of everything we do, and our teams are excited to celebrate this wonderful moment with them as we open our first retail store in India.”
