Maldivian resumes Dharavandhoo route flights

The national carrier of the Maldives will relaunch its direct flights to Baa atoll Dharavandhoo on June 15.

Maldivian confirmed that it will schedule daily flights to Dharavandhoo from June 15, with a special relaunch fare for the route.

The airline previously operated to the island but halted flights to the route after local carrier Manta Air began their official flights to Dharavandhoo in 2019.

While Maldivian has announced flight resumption to Dharavandhoo, the airline recently acquired three new ATR aircraft and commissioned them for active operations. This brings the airline’s fleet to 14.

Maldivian currently operates to 16 domestic destinations and has announced discounts between 5 to 15% on advanced bookings.
