Australia has opened its High Commission in the Maldives on May 25, 2023.
The High Commission office was opened in Jen Maldives by Shangri-La, fifth floor, and will provide consular services to Australians visiting the Maldives. Besides consular services, the commission will cater services related to providing legal documentations to visiting Australians.
Despite Australia opening its commission in the Maldives, all passport-related services will be handled by its commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
