Telecommunications service provider Ooredoo Maldives has marked 13 years of service in the Maldives.
To mark the milestone achievement, the company had launched Ooredoo Supernet services in Addu City, providing speeds up to 100 Mbps. Ooredoo had also offered a 50 percent bonus on GB’s for a period of 13 months for all connections taken in Maradhoo and Maradhoo Feydhoo before 30th August.

Ooredoo Director of Sales and Brand, Hussain Niyaz focused on the work carried out by the company in the past 13 years.
‘In the past 13 years, we have managed to strengthen the communication network in the country and assisted in bringing social and economic progress in the country. When we attained license for fixed internet in the Maldives, we immediately focused on providing high speed broadband internet service to every Maldivian. Under this initiative, we focused on providing high speed internet to Addu City Maradhoo and Maradhoo Feydhoo,’ he added.
Popular applications such as Facebook, YouTube and Netflix have been optimized for maximum user satisfaction under the Supernet packages.
