Malaysia Airlines has announced the resumption of flights to the Maldives, with daily services set to begin in August.
This decision comes as the Maldives remains a popular destination for both leisure and academic purposes among Maldivians, many of whom also reside there.
In addition to restarting flights to the Maldives, Malaysia Airlines has introduced three new routes. These include destinations such as Thailand’s Chiang Mai and Vietnam’s Da Nang. The move is aimed at enhancing connectivity and meeting the growing demand for travel in the region.
Tickets for these flights will go on sale starting March 22, 2024, with daily flights to Male, the capital of the Maldives, commencing on August 1, 2024.
Malaysia Airlines, known as the flag carrier of Malaysia, currently offers access to over 900 destinations across 170 territories worldwide, providing travelers with extensive connectivity options.
