Islamic University’s Research Conference Invites Paper Submissions for September Event

The Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) has announced the call for papers for their upcoming Internal Conference on Intellectual Advancements (ICIA).

According to the schedule posted by IUM, the call for papers commenced on March 14th, with the abstract submission deadline set for May 15th. Registration for the conference will open on August 15th, and the early bird registration period will run until August 30th. The registration deadline is September 14th.

This year’s conference is scheduled for September 28th and 29th. The theme for this year’s event is “Building a Learning Society for Sustainable Development.”

The conference attracts participation from both international scholars and local academics. Research papers in English, Dhivehi, and Arabic are welcomed and presented during the event. Along with paper presentations, there will be high-level keynote speeches and panel discussions.

Conference strands include Social sciences, humanities, and education; Quranic studies, Sharia, and law; Tourism, environment, and technology; and Management, business, economics, accounting, finance, and banking. ICIA serves as the annual conference of IUM and is organized by the Centre for Research and Publication.
