Tourist arrivals to the Maldives has reached 794,109 in annual terms, which is just 5,891 travelers short of hitting the 800,000 annual arrival mark.
Given the current momentum, the mark is expected to hit before the end of May; following which, the arrivals to Maldives would be just 200,000 short of hitting the 1 million mark.
As of May 04, 2024, the annual arrivals is 12.3% up compared to the corresponding period last year, during which arrivals stood at 707,306.
