Tourist arrivals to the Maldives has exceeded 1.01 million by the end of 2024 first half, reports the Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry’s statistics, tourist arrivals to the Maldives as of June 30 reached 1,015,529 – a 9.2% increment compared to the same period last year.

Recently the Maldives welcomed a Thai national as the millionth tourist arrival of the year. She and her family received a warm welcome at the Velana International Airport (VIA) upon their arrival.
