Maldives Business Awards has opened up for public voting on Individual categories.
Maldives Business Awards was launched earlier this year to recognize excellence in businesses and individuals in the sectors of the economy. We had received over a hundred applications, narrowed to finalists through a pre-evaluation. The finalists then gave their presentations to a panel of judges, who were evaluated on a set of metrics, designed to identify how much the business had grown and contributed to the society.
The following categories have been opened to public voting. Voting commences on Sunday 2nd September, all the way up to 14th September 23:59hrs.
Young Entrepreneur Of The Year:

- Raaidha Shafeeq: MBA<space>1803
Business Woman Of The Year:
- Fathimath Nahula: MBA<space>1804
- Fathimath Nada: MBA<space>1805
- Raaidha Shafeeq: MBA<space>1806
Inspirational Leader Of The Year:
- Ahmed Shaheer: MBA<space>1807
- Abdul Majeed: MBA<space>1808
- Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem: MBA<space>1809
Entrepreneur Of The Year:
- Mohamed Ali Janah: MBA<space>1810
- Jaadhulla Ismail: MBA<space>1811
- Saudulla Ahmed: MBA<space>1812
SMS’s must be sent in the following format MBA<space>(short code) to 266 on both Ooredoo and Dhiraagu. SMS’s will be capped at 50 SMS from each number.
‘The Awards will be a collective portfolio of what our businesses are truly about; it will proudly exhibit our values, our achievements and our tireless efforts to bring about a better tomorrow through our actions in the present,’ Awards organizers reported.
