Ooredoo stated that NIRU Accelerator is a useful platform which can help to start a successful business with the support of various resources and experienced mentors.

Moreover, teams selected for the Accelerator program will be awarded funding and a 12 week long intense mentorship program with resources such as Co-working space, digital tools and even technical support from experienced advisors.

Furthermore, the teams will be given the opportunity to pitch their ideas for more investment prospects upon completion of the program. Likewise, participants will acquire long term benefits and partnership opportunities even after the program ends.

Ooredoo’s CEO Najib Khan stated that they started this program in order to support the Startup eco-system of the Maldives and provide the opportunity for Maldivians to participate in the international digital revolution. He also emphasized on the fact that Maldivian developers and entrepreneurs showed their impressive abilities during the NIRU Hackathon.

The Teams who were awarded the opportunity to participate in NIRU Accelerator created the following programs;
