The Maldivian delegation consisting of over 300 representatives, taking part in ITB Berlin 2018 has departed to Germany.
ITB Berlin – which will be held from 7th to 11th March is the biggest travel fair that the Maldives participates in annually. According to Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), 104 companies are taking part in ITB this year.
The Maldivian delegation consists of 300 representatives from the Maldives, including Ambassador of Maldives to Germany, Jameela Ali Khalid and Acting General Manager of MMPRC, Mr Haris Mohamed.
ITB Berlin is the world’s biggest travel exhibition, which sees thousands of visitors each year. It’s among the best platforms to promote the unique destination of the Maldives. The international tourist industry trade fair attracts around 109,000 visitors and 10,000 exhibitors to trade stands, talks and workshops.
The Maldivian stall was among one of the biggest hits of ITB 2017 – which became one of the main attractions of the exhibition shortly after opening to the general public.
