Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) has launched their first edition of the Capital Market Review.
The Review was launched by Maldives Islamic University Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.
The Review is an annual publication aimed to educating the public on capital markets. It shows information on how to secure funding for businesses, analyze financial statements and on Islamic capital market. This also includes information on shares, bonds, sukook and how to invest in these funds.
CMDA Chief Executive Officer Nadiya Hassan reported that a fully functional capital market will create multiple benefits to the economy and therefore, educating public on these was vital.
CMDA was created in 2006 as an independent institution.
