Former MD of Allied, Mr Ahmed Ameel revealed that this is the first time a company in the Maldives had shown such a rapid growth within a year in their profits. Mr Ameel added that the previous year was an immensely successful year for Allied, and revealed that their insurance capacity now stands at USD 140 million. This brings the company to the list of few, with such a high insurance capacity in the entire region. In addition to this, the company granted USD 130 million as insurance payouts in 2018.
Speaking about the company’s future in 2019, their newly appointed MD, Mr. Mohamed Shafaz revealed that they are ready to launch a range of new insurance policies.
Allied Special Event also saw the introduction of several new insurance policies. These include new policies for Boat Insurance as well as Life Insurance for Ooredoo Club Premier customers. The company revealed that they are working with Ooredoo to provide the services to their postpaid customers in the near future as well.
