Nominations for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) will end on Thursday, 15th March.
Highrise, organizers of the event, say that major hotel brands in the Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan have already submitted in their nominations.
The organizers add that nominations period is open until Thursday. Applications can be sent in via online or forms.
The nominations will be judged by a panel of industry experts and then voting will be opened online. SATA consists of 36 Categories in 10 segments.
This is the third edition of SATA. This year’s SATA will be given out in Mumbai, India, though a date and venue are yet to be announced.
Several high profile companies, agencies and bodies have endorsed SATA, including Colombo Chamber of Commerce, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), India Association of Tour Operators, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Sri Lanka and Confederation of Associated Tour Operators, India.
