Dhiraagu and Sparkhub have collaborated on their second Startup Grind aimed at young entrepreneurs.
The event was held at the Dhiraagu head office and was attended by several youths involved in the ICT industry.
The CEO and Managing Director of Dhiraagu, Mr Ismail Rasheed spoke at the event, stating that providing aid and assistance in the ICT industry was one of their most important goals as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives. He added that helping youth work towards progress is an important part of their corporate social responsibility.
Startup Grind is an event that brings together new entrepreneurs and potential investors.
This year’s Startup Grind also brought in the Malaysian company, MyBump. It was represented by the Co-Founder and CEO of the company, Mr Dhanish Athif.
MyBump is a company that uses various technological means for marketing. One such example is the work done with the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators to promote local tourism.
Dhiraagu and Sparkhub organised the first Startup Grind event in November of last year.
Sparkhub is a company with a young team who were also involved in organising the first Hackathon of the Maldives.
