The most recent addition to Maldives’ domestic airlines, Manta Air will be expanding its flight operations by introducing their latest flight destination; Baa atoll Dharavandhoo.
Manta Air announced its new destination on 9 April 2019 and said the airline will be providing daily and direct service between Velana International Airport and Dharavandhoo Airport.
According to the airline the flight operations between Male’ and Dharavandhoo will officially commence on 11 April 2019 and the initial plan includes operating two direct daily flights and “increase it to three flights effective after the second week of operations.”
The latest domestic airline is visibly making strong progress as they recently added their third aircraft to its fleet. The airline also is the first to introduce the eco-friendly ATR 72-600 aircraft with customized seats for improved legroom with “most modern and spacious cabin interiors and quiet turboprop engines.”
The airline had also announced special promotional fare of MVR499 for adults and MVR249 for kids as part of their celebration on starting the new route. In addition, the airline will continue to maintain their super saver and saver fares for Dharavandhoo as well.
