The Handicrafts Fair has been opened to participants.
According to the announcement by the Ministry of Economic Development, the main purpose of the exhibition is to introduce original Maldivian products to the market and to promote them in the local economy.
Further objectives of the exhibition include showcasing local products at one place for tourists and to provide opportunities for growth to all local creators and artists in the community.
The application form for the exhibition would be available from April 21 till 1400 on June 3.
The Economic Ministry stated that the fair is set to be conducted in the month of November.
The sectors in which participants can apply to include; individual level, island representative, disabled, education sector and on behalf of clubs.
