Ranveli Island Resort will be re-opened in 2019 as Zazz Island Resort, says the developer, Asia Prestige Management (APM).
The island was acquired by the Hong Kong based company in December 2017.
APM adds that the rebranded resort will focus on strengthening their Asian market and the presence of the brand in the region.
APM will partner up with Unicorn Hotels and Resorts to manage the property. Slated for an opening in the second quarter of 2019, Zazz Island Resort will be home to 100 villas. Unicorn Hotels and Resorts is a hospitality management company based in Bangkok, specializing in full hotel management, as well as offering a full range of management, operational, technical and development consulting services for hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Located in South Ari Atoll, the resort is a 25 minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport (VIA).
