Ooredoo Maldives partners with NRSC for new postpaid packages

Ooredoo Maldives has introduced new postpaid packages.

At a ceremony held at Ooredoo Maldives headquarters, the telecom giant introduced the postpaid packages using Ooredoo-sponsored football club New Radiant’s members. The introductory postpaid packages vary from MVR200 – MVR1000 and were displayed at jersey numbers on the players’ backs.

According to Ooredoo, the new postpaid packages include free minutes, SMS, data and IDD calls, and can be customized according to user preference.

CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Najib Khan said that Ooredoo is constantly working towards catering customer needs. He added that Ooredoo is proud to have launched postpaid packages with unlimited data at affordable prices.

The new postpaid customers will receive unlimited data for free through these packages. If a customer exceeds their data allowance, they will still receive free data at a slower speed according to Ooredoo. Customers can buy “power up”packages to continue receiving data at high speed.

All postpaid packages except Postpaid 200 will allow Ooredoo customers to call and SMS Ooredoo customers for free.
The postpaid packages come with different perks according to the package.

Postpaid 200: Customers will receive 1000 free minutes to Ooredoo Network numbers and 1GB free data.

Postpaid 400: Customers can call Ooredoo Network number for free with 1500 free minutes to other networks. The package comes with 6GB free data and unlimited free SMS with 50 percent discount for IDD calls to one country.

Postpaid 600: The package offers free calls to Ooredoo Network numbers with 2000 free minutes to other networks. The package comes with 9GB free data and unlimited free SMS with 50 percent discount on IDD calls to two countries.

Postpaid 800: This package offers free calls to local networks with 15GB free data and unlimited free SMS. The package offers 50 percent discount on IDD calls to four countries.

Postpaid 1000: This package offers free calls to local networks with 25GB free data and unlimited free SMS. The package offers 50 percent discount on IDD calls to five countries.
