The Air Italy on Wednesday, 24 April 2019, announced its winter 2019/20 network for sale stating the main focus of the schedule was to optimize its routes via its Milan Malpensa hub.
The airline will have non-stop and direct flights to Maldives during the winter season and said in their press statement that “starting today, our winter network is now on sale, and we are delighted to be offering the Maldives, Zanzibar, Tenerife and Mombasa which are all fabulous winter destinations and have been perennially popular with our Italian customers during winter.”
“At the same time, by repositioning our aircraft to the outstations overnight, we will now be able to offer enhanced connectivity to our international destinations and better timings for those coming to Milan for business or leisure,” the airline added.
The Milan-Male’ route will be served three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
With Air Italy’s plan of direct service during the winter season, the upsurge of holidaymakers visiting from Italy is expected to rise.
