Qibla Hajj and Umrah appoints Dr Shaheem as Chief Advisor

The local Hajj agency, Qibla Hajj and Umrah has appointed Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, the current advisor to the Secretary General of OIC, as their new Chief Advisor.

According the Hajj agency’s management, the former Islamic University of Maldives Chancellor will be an exceptional addition to the company due to his academic excellence and extensive experience in coordinating Hajj and Umrah activities in the past.

Qibla Hajj and Umrah stressed on the addition of Dr Shaheem as a major stride for the company in improving their services.

Dr Shaheem played an instrumental role in the inception of Maldives Hajj Corporation during his tenure as the Minister of Islamic Affairs.

Looking at his portfolio, apart from being the advisor to Dr Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen the Secretary General of OIC, Dr Shaheem also is at the helm of Sawt Al-Hikma or otherwise known as ‘Voice of Wisdom’ which is a multinational wing of the OIC.

Qibla Hajj and Umrah is a local agency operating with the permit for the services from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Maldives.
