The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has been contracted on Tuesday, to carry out EIA and design of A.A Ukulhas and A.A Bodufolhudhoo.
The agreement was signed by the Permanent Secretary of Planning Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed on behalf of the government and the COO of MTCC Shahid Hussain Moosa, signed on behalf of the company. According to a press release by MTCC, the project is estimated to cost MVR 418,340 and is expected to be completed in about 45 days.
Recently the MTCC has also been contracted to construct harbors in Rakeedhoo, Vaavu Atoll for USD 1.202 million and Guraidhoo, Thaa Atoll for USD 2.989 million. The company will complete the harbour development project in Rakeedhoo within 349 days and the harbour development project in Guraidhoo within 475 days, according to the agreement signed.
