John Keells Opens Fourth Property in Maldives — Cinnamon Velifushi

The Sri Lankan hotel operator, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts has opened doors to its fourth property in the Maldives, Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives. Sri Lankan ambassador in the Maldives Namal Karunaratne officially opened the resort on the first of this month.

Accessible by a 25-minute scenic seaplane flight from the Maldives’ main Velana International Airport, Cinnamon Velifushi is located in Vaavu Atoll with 90 bungalows and suites. Guests have the option to choose from a Superior Beach Loft, Beach Bungalow, Water Bungalow, Sunset Water Bungalow with Jacuzzi, or Water Suite with Pool.

Guests can dine at the resort’s variety of gourmet restaurants serving an international platter in the most scenic setting.  The resort also offers a continental or buffet breakfast.
