Womenintechmv & Dhiraagu Wraps-up ‘Girls to Code’ Program

Womenintechmv in partnership with Dhiraagu has successfully wrapped up the ‘Girls to Code’ Program held Nyaviyani Atoll, Fuvahmulah City. The participants learned about various aspects of web development and coding in this program held in Fuvahmulah with 16 young participants.

Girls to Code is a joint program held by the leading telecommunications provider, Dhiraagu and Women in Tech Maldives for girls aged from 14 to 20 years, to encourage and inspire more women to join the tech field. The participants were trained on how to code and develop basic websites using programming tools.

Women In Tech Maldives (Womenintechmv) is a non-profit organization working to inspire, empower and celebrate women in Science and Technology. The organization aims to accelerate the growth of women in science and technology by creating opportunities that foster innovation and build the community.
