The strong commitment of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts towards sustainability in tourism has proven fruitful with Green Globe certifications to three of its properties.
Three out of their five operational properties recently received the certification which is tantamount to the committed efforts towards sustainability.
The properties include OBLU by Atmosphere at Helengeli, OZEN by Atmosphere at Maadhoo and OBLU Select at Sangeli.
The Green Globe is considered among one of the first global programs for the “conservation of people and nature, with a local focus” and was designed specifically for the travel and tourism industry.
The Green Globe certification came to inception sometime in the early 1990s.
