Rasfannu Pavilion has been officially opened, with Australian franchise Gloria Jean’s Coffee outlet.
Gloria Jean’s Coffee outlet in Pavilion was opened at a special ceremony by the First Lady of Maldives, Fathimath Ibrahim.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Economic Development, Mohamed Saeed stated that Gloria Jean’s outlets will be opened in Addu City and HDh. Kulhudhuffushi. He stated that international franchises will be brought to densely populated atolls. Minister Saeed stated that Gloria Jean’s outlets will be managed and operated by 80 percent Maldivians – highlighting the number of jobs the introduction of international franchises will create.
Gloria Jean’s Coffee outlet is located on the third floor of the pavilion in Rasfannu beach. Other international franchises are set to be opened in the pavilion in the near future.
Gloria Jean’s Coffee operates over 800 outlets in 39 countries across the globe.
