International travel and tourist resort reopening expected for July, says Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The Maldives statesman made the statement during Wednesday’s public addressing.
According President Solih, Maldives border will expect reopening by July and resumption of international travel if current condition amid Covid-19 pandemic in the country does not worsen further.
On Wednesday, President Solih during his public statement confirmed relaxing restrictions once the currently effective lockdown is due.
The current lockdown, effective across Greater Male’ Region will remain effective until 28 May.
Furthermore, President Solih confirmed the guideline to reduce restrictive measures were being discussed with relevant authorities.
