Mookai Hotel, one of the first hotels opened in Maldives capital commemorated its 18 years of service on Wednesday.
The city hotel first opened its doors welcoming guests and travelers in 2002, and is situated in Henveiru district of the capital city.
“Although we remain temporarily closed due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we are hopeful to reopen our doors once again. We assure to deliver quality service to our visitors in future as well,” the hotel’s General Manager Ibrahim Ali commented.
Situated at two blocks away from Hulhumale’ Ferry Terminal, and close in proximity to Airport Ferry Terminal, the hotel has been welcoming backpackers and foreign travelers visiting Male’ City.
Moreover, Mookai Hotel is incorporated with a rooftop pool and a conference hall as well.
Mookai Hotel is owned by one of the oldest hotelier companies in the country, Kaimoo Hotels and Resorts. The hotelier has a rich legacy of over 40 years of service in the Maldivian tourism industry.
Furthermore, the hotelier operates its Mookai Suites, a luxury city hotel at Maafannu district up close to the official premises of Maldives Customs Service, along with Kaimoo Inn.
Additionally the hotelier owns and operates luxury resorts in Male’ atoll which include Emboodhoo Village and Summer Island, as well as the Equator Village at Addu City Gan.
