Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for 25 tech interns under its one-year Internship Programme, offering young Maldivians hands-on experience across the Bank’s technology and non-technology functions.
Selected interns will work on live projects, receive mentorship and gain exposure to different areas of the Bank. They will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000, a Ramadan bonus, 15 days of paid annual leave and 10 days of leave for medical or family emergencies.
The programme is open to Maldivians aged above 18 who are pursuing or have completed a technology-related qualification, as well as applicants with relevant technical skills.
Since its launch in 2018, the programme has welcomed 98 interns across seven batches, with 60 percent securing permanent positions at the Bank.
High-performing interns may also be considered for permanent employment.
