Maldives Islamic
Bank (MIB) has announced that its Business Branch will remain open on three
specific days during the last ten days of Ramadan, despite the
government-declared holidays. The bank will operate on April 20, 27, and 29,
from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm, to ensure continued banking services for businesses
and individuals.
The decision
aims to facilitate essential financial transactions during the final days of
Ramadan, a period of increased economic activity. MIB has emphasized that while
customers can visit the branch in person on these days, they can also access
the bank’s full range of services through digital platforms without needing to
visit physically.
Since 2023, MIB
has offered remote account opening services, streamlining banking procedures
for customers. The bank’s FaisaNet platform provides businesses with
comprehensive online banking solutions, including bulk salary processing,
telegraphic transfers (TT), and other financial transactions.
MIB encourages
customers to utilize its Internet and Mobile Banking platforms, which remain
trusted for their reliability and security.
