Maldives Expo 2026 will feature a dedicated International Exhibitors District, creating a separate platform for overseas companies to showcase products, technologies and expertise alongside Maldivian businesses and creators.
The district is one of two new additions to this year’s expo, together with the Visitor Economy District. Maldives Expo 2026 will feature seven districts in total and will run from 25 October to 2 November at Central Park in Hulhumalé.
State Minister for Economic Development, Transport and Trade Abdulla Shiyaz said international companies also participated in last year’s exhibition, but a dedicated district has been introduced this year to strengthen connections between Maldivian creators and overseas businesses.
Companies from India, China and the United Arab Emirates are expected to participate in the International Exhibitors District, including businesses involved in infrastructure development and technology. The district is expected to showcase new technological innovations and provide opportunities for Maldivian businesses and creators to establish international connections.
International exhibitors will not be eligible to participate in the expo’s competition, which will remain exclusively open to Maldivians.
Maldives Expo 2026 is being organised by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade in collaboration with Business Center Corporation under the theme “Future Maldives – Innovation, Creativity & Global Connections.”
