The Visit Maldives has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TUI Group to strengthen collaboration in promoting the Maldives as a leading global travel destination.
The agreement was signed during the ongoing ITB Berlin, one of the world’s largest travel trade fairs.
Under the partnership, both parties will work together on a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening the Maldives’ visibility in key international markets. Discussions between the two sides focused on joint marketing campaigns and collaborative promotional activities to further enhance the destination’s presence globally.
TUI Group is widely recognised as the world’s leading integrated tourism business, offering travel experiences across multiple segments of the industry. The company operates airlines, cruise lines and hotels, while also providing travel services that allow customers to fly across continents, cruise oceans, explore destinations and stay in a wide range of accommodations.
The collaboration is expected to support efforts to position the Maldives more prominently in the global tourism market and strengthen ties with key industry partners.
