The Bank of Maldives (BML) has inaugurated ATM services in
AA. Maalhos, marking a major milestone in its nationwide “Mulhi Raajje ah BML
ATM” program. With this installation, every inhabited island in AA. Atoll now
has access to ATM services.
The inauguration ceremony was held today with the attendance
of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, government ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed
Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, members of the Board of
Directors, and senior officials of the Bank.
As the Maldives’ leading financial institution, BML operates
a robust nationwide network comprising 41 branches across all 20 atolls, 144
Self-Service Banking Centres, 200 ATMs, extensive Agent Banking services, and
advanced digital banking solutions. The “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” project is a
key part of the Bank’s efforts to ensure reliable access to banking services
for communities across the country.
