STO Launches ‘World Cup Foari’ Promotion with Discounts, Prizes and Malaysia Getaway

STO General Trading has launched a special promotion titled ‘STO World Cup Foari’, offering discounts on televisions and projectors, weekly prizes and a chance to win a holiday to Malaysia as football fans enjoy the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The promotion, which runs until 12 July 2026, is aimed at helping customers create the ideal viewing experience for the tournament while rewarding shoppers with a range of prizes.

Under the campaign, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 28 percent on selected Philips and LG televisions, as well as InFocus Boxlight projectors. Customers who spend MVR 500 or more on eligible products will be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win a five-day trip to Malaysia for two people.

STO said the promotion was launched in recognition of the strong passion Maldivians have for football and the tradition of preparing for the World Cup with family and friends.

In addition to retail customers, wholesale customers will also have the opportunity to win significant prizes through the campaign. Customers making wholesale purchases of MVR 3,000 or more will receive one coupon for every qualifying invoice and be entered into a separate lucky draw.

Three wholesale customers will be selected to receive prizes, with the first-place winner receiving MVR 30,000 worth of products, the second-place winner receiving MVR 20,000 worth of products, and the third-place winner receiving MVR 10,000 worth of products.

STO also announced that customers will have opportunities to win various weekly prizes through a series of World Cup-themed activities conducted throughout the promotional period.

According to STO, the campaign's main objective is to provide customers with the opportunity to enjoy World Cup matches in a comfortable home environment while benefiting from attractive discounts and rewards.

The promotion is available at STO People’s Choice Malé, STO People’s Choice Hulhumalé, and STO regional outlets across the country.
