State Trading Organization has expanded its retail offering with the introduction of the European health food brand “One Day More,” as demand for nutritious and premium food products continues to rise in the Maldives.
The products were launched at a ceremony held at STO People’s Choice, where Aishath Shifana Wajeeh, CEO of Heat Gym, introduced the brand to the local market.
Speaking at the event, Shifana highlighted the health benefits associated with the products, noting their role in supporting physical well-being and balanced diets.
“One Day More” is internationally recognised as a health-focused breakfast brand, with its product range centred on natural ingredients and premium quality. The lineup introduced in the Maldives includes granola, muesli, oatmeal, porridge and protein-enriched cereals.
While primarily positioned as breakfast items, the products are designed for flexible consumption throughout the day, aligning with evolving consumer lifestyles.
STO confirmed that the full range is now available at STO People’s Choice outlets in Malé and Hulhumalé Phase 1. A two-week promotional campaign offering discounts has also been launched to mark the introduction.
The entry of globally recognised health food brands reflects a gradual shift in consumer preferences in the Maldives, where awareness of nutrition and wellness is increasing.
As one of the country’s largest state-owned enterprises, STO continues to play a key role in shaping retail supply chains while responding to changing demand patterns.
The introduction of premium health products is expected to contribute to the expansion of the health-focused food segment, providing consumers with greater variety and access to international brands.
