SME Digital has officially launched its new brand campaign, “SME360,” aimed at strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Maldives.
The campaign was inaugurated today by Minister of Economic Development, Transport and Trade Mohamed Saeed during the “Addu Business Dialogue” Forum held in Addu City.
As the Maldives’ leading provider of financing solutions for SMEs, SME Digital said the campaign is focused on increasing awareness of the institution’s services and expanding engagement with entrepreneurs and local businesses nationwide.
Through the SME360 initiative, SME Digital plans to conduct a series of public engagement activities across the country, including specialised workshops and outreach programmes in different atolls. These sessions are designed to provide entrepreneurs with practical business guidance, key industry insights and greater exposure to opportunities available within various sectors.
The campaign will also feature a dedicated podcast series highlighting the experiences, journeys and success stories of local entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Speaking at the launch, SME Digital CEO Badhurudheen Hassan described SME360 as part of the institution’s broader vision to become a trusted one-stop platform for SMEs in the Maldives.
“SME360 reflects our vision of building a trusted one-stop platform that delivers comprehensive support and financing solutions for SMEs across the Maldives,” he said.
“It’s a great honor for us to launch this campaign in Addu City, a major business hub in the Maldives. To date, SME Digital has extended over MVR 144 million in financing to support 134 small businesses in Addu City. Through this campaign, we hope to further strengthen the relationship between SME Digital and SMEs, allowing us to become a trusted partner throughout every stage of their business journey.”
SME Digital is currently participating in the Addu Business Dialogue forum organised by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade, where discussions are focused on advancing and strengthening the SME sector in the Maldives.
