Dr Shah Mahir has been appointed as the Managing Director of the newly established State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Corporation, the Privatization and Corporatization Board announced today.
The corporation,
formed last Tuesday, is tasked with handling the procurement and distribution
of pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and medical equipment across the
Maldives. According to the President’s Office, the company will manage bulk
imports and ensure medical supplies reach all regions of the country.
Alongside Dr
Shah Mahir, three board members were also appointed: Aishath Mohamed, M.
