More than a sporting competition, Ooredoo Masrace is a celebration of Maldivian identity and the nation's deep-rooted connection to the sea.

Ooredoo Maldives has announced the opening of registrations for the highly anticipated Ooredoo Masrace 2026, held in partnership with the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources.
Celebrating the Maldives' rich fishing heritage, the annual event brings together fishing teams, enthusiasts, families and communities for a day of friendly competition and cultural pride.
This year's Ooredoo Masrace will take place on 7 August 2026 in K. Maafushi, where teams will compete for a total prize pool of MVR 43,000.
Registrations open today, 14 July 2026, and will remain open until 21 July 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Teams consisting of 12 members, including the captain and officials, can register online at https://ore.do/masrace2025.
The prize breakdown is as follows:
1st Place Team: MVR 25,000
2nd Place Team: MVR 10,000
3rd Place Team: MVR 5,000
Best Fisherman: MVR 1,000
Best Fisherwoman: MVR 1,000
Biggest Catch: MVR 1,000
