State Trading Organisation’s STO General Trading has officially brought the internationally acclaimed UK brand Dyson to the Maldives, expanding access to its innovative range of personal care and home appliances for local consumers.
The newly
launched lineup includes Dyson’s highly sought-after hair styling tools,
notably its advanced hairdryer and hair straightener, which have gained
widespread popularity on social media platforms for their sleek design and
cutting-edge performance. These products are designed with technology that
helps minimise heat damage, offering a safer alternative to conventional
styling devices while maintaining professional-grade results.
The launch was
marked by a special promotional event organised by STO General Trading, where
professional stylists from Ana Salon showcased live demonstrations on how to
use the Dyson styling tools effectively. The event highlighted the unique
features of the products and their ability to deliver salon-quality results
with enhanced hair protection.
In addition to
the hair care range, STO also unveiled Dyson vacuum cleaners, further
broadening the brand’s presence in the Maldivian market. The company stated
that the introduction of Dyson aims to provide Maldivians with access to
authentic, high-quality products at competitive prices, while ensuring
reliability and after-sales confidence.
STO General
Trading also revealed plans to expand the Dyson range in the Maldives, with
future additions expected to include products such as Dyson air purifiers. The
move reinforces STO’s ongoing commitment to offering globally recognised brands
and premium products, strengthening its position as the state’s largest and
most trusted trading company.
