The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has invited the public to design the official logo for Payment Maldives, offering MVR 30,000 for the selected design.
According to
MMA, the initiative aims to strengthen the nation’s financial system,
accelerate the development of modern payment infrastructure, and support the
Maldives’ transition toward a digital economy. The logo is expected to capture
the vision of empowering service recipients, promoting businesses, and
reflecting the country’s push toward innovative payment services.
The opportunity
is open to anyone interested, and submissions must be sent via email to [email protected]
before 14:00 on October 16. Participants are required to pre-register through
the MMA website before sending in their designs.
Entries will be
reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by MMA, with all submissions evaluated
anonymously to ensure fairness in the selection process. The chosen design will
serve as the official corporate identity of Payment Maldives.
MMA noted that
this initiative provides the public a chance to contribute creatively to a
landmark financial project that underlines the importance of digital
transformation in the Maldives.
