The Maldives Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) is continuing its Ramadan initiative to distribute free Iftar packs, maintaining a meaningful tradition of community support during the holy month.
Like in previous years, MWSC is providing complimentary Ramadan breakfast packs to members of the public every day before Iftar. The packs are distributed in front of the MWSC office, allowing those who are fasting to easily collect food to break their fast.
According to MWSC, the initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and reflects the spirit of Ramadan — a time that emphasises generosity, compassion and helping those in need. The company said the programme also celebrates the long-standing Maldivian tradition of sharing food and supporting others during the holy month.
MWSC has also invited both its staff and the general public to contribute by donating food and Iftar packs. These contributions will be distributed daily before Iftar, helping extend the reach of the initiative to more people.
The programme highlights MWSC’s commitment to social good and community welfare, reinforcing the values of unity and generosity that define Ramadan in the Maldives.
