MU Store has introduced a new range of Olitalia olive oil products to the Maldivian market, expanding access to premium international culinary ingredients with the launch of the ‘Chef Mania’ Extra Virgin Olive Oil and four flavoured condiment oils.
The latest additions, now available at MU Store outlets nationwide, feature products from the Italian brand Olitalia, known globally for its olive oil portfolio. The launch includes the ‘Chef Mania’ Extra Virgin Olive Oil, presented in a squeeze bottle designed for precision use in cooking and plating.
According to MU Store, the squeeze packaging allows greater control during food preparation and is particularly suited for garnishing and finishing dishes. The product is positioned to meet the needs of both home cooks and professional kitchens seeking convenience without compromising quality.
In addition to the extra virgin olive oil, MU Store has rolled out a new Olitalia Condiment Oil range comprising four flavours: rosemary, basil, lemon, and garlic and chili. Each variant is produced by infusing high quality olive oil with natural essences to enhance specific culinary applications.
The rosemary oil is tailored for roasted vegetables and fish dishes, while the basil variant is designed to complement pasta, salads, and Mediterranean-style cuisine. The lemon flavour is suited for seafood and salad dressings, and the garlic and chili option is intended to elevate savoury preparations such as steaks.
MU Store described the new range as versatile, suitable for marinating as well as adding a finishing touch to prepared meals. The company stated that introducing these products broadens the selection of international-standard cooking ingredients available to Maldivian consumers.
As a well-established retail brand in the Maldives, MU Store’s decision to expand its imported food portfolio reflects growing demand for specialised cooking products in the domestic market. The availability of premium olive oil variants may also align with evolving consumer preferences toward diverse and globally influenced cuisines.
The newly launched Olitalia products are now on shelves across MU Store outlets, marking the retailer’s latest move to strengthen its offering in the premium grocery segment.
