A mental health rehabilitation programme supported by Bank of Maldives (BML) has reached hundreds of people in Hulhumalé Phase 2. The Zaytun programme is delivered by the Maldivian Nurses Association through the BML Bank Fund.
The programme supports individuals undergoing mental health rehabilitation and their families, with a focus on developing life and coping skills, supporting social reintegration and increasing community awareness to reduce stigma surrounding mental health.

Activities carried out under the programme included training, wellbeing and life-skills sessions, as well as community outreach initiatives, reaching hundreds of people in Hulhumalé.
BML supports the initiative through its Bank Fund, which provides support for community-led projects across the Maldives.
