The Maldives Association of Human Resources Professionals (MAHRP) has officially opened registration for the 6th MAHRP Learning & Development Conference 2026, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at the MNU Business School Auditorium in Malé City. This year’s conference will be held under the theme, “Learning Beyond Borders – Transforming Talent for the Future of Work.”
As the world of work continues to evolve, organisations are being challenged to rethink how they develop people, strengthen capabilities and create high-performing workplaces. The conference will bring together international and local experts, HR professionals, business leaders and learning and development practitioners to share knowledge, exchange ideas and explore emerging approaches to talent development and organisational performance.
The conference will focus on several important areas shaping the future of learning and work, including workplace transformation and the future of work, artificial intelligence and the integration of human experience in learning, competency-based learning and development, building and sustaining a high-performance culture, as well as practical masterclasses and interactive learning experiences. Through these discussions and sessions, participants will have the opportunity to gain practical insights and new perspectives that can be applied within their respective organisations.
The 6th MAHRP Learning & Development Conference 2026 will be conducted as a full-day learning experience from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
As part of MAHRP’s commitment to encouraging organisational learning and professional development, organisations registering five or more participants will also be offered the MAHRP member rate as a special group benefit. Individual participants may register through the official registration form at , while group registrations can be arranged by contacting Admin@mahrp.org or Events@mahrp.org.
The conference is expected to provide a valuable platform for professionals to connect, exchange knowledge and explore practical approaches to preparing people and organisations for the changing world of work. The Maldives Association of Human Resources Professionals was registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs on 28 January 2018 and held its official inauguration ceremony on 24 February 2018. Its official NGO registration number is CRCR/04/2018. As a non-profit organisation, MAHRP works to add value to the Human Resources professional network across the Maldives and is committed to building an inclusive association where HR professionals and practitioners can contribute, collaborate and work together to strengthen human capital excellence across the country.
MAHRP is the Maldives’ first professional association dedicated to human resources and people development. Its mission is to support the needs of HR professionals by providing current and comprehensive resources, advancing the profession, promoting the essential role of human resources, setting professional standards and providing industry knowledge and expertise. Through its signature events and membership activities, MAHRP also works to connect HR professionals and practitioners locally and internationally.
