Ooredoo Maldives has opened registrations for a chance to win one of 10 free entry slots for the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo 2027.

The opportunity covers four race categories — 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon — with selected participants receiving free race registration. Travel and accommodation expenses will need to be covered by the participants themselves.

Registrations are open until 14 October through Ooredoo Maldives’ designated registration portal.

The Doha Marathon by Ooredoo 2027 will be held on 15 January 2027 in Qatar and will mark the 15th edition of the event. Organisers expect around 25,000 participants, making it the largest edition planned so far.

The marathon currently holds World Athletics Gold Label status. Its 2026 edition attracted more than 20,000 runners representing 160 nationalities, including around 2,200 international participants.

The 2027 edition will feature a redesigned full-marathon route through Doha, including sections along the Corniche and past landmarks such as the Amiri Diwan, Old Doha Port and Souq Waqif.
