Ooredoo Maldives has announced Yoosuf Abdul Haadhee from R. Dhuvaafaru as the winner of its Umrah trip promotion, selected through a customer draw linked to bill payments and digital transactions.
The company stated that customers who paid their Postpaid or SuperNet bills, or made a Raastas payment of MVR 250 or more during the promotional period, were automatically entered into the draw.
The campaign was designed to reward customers for timely payments while encouraging the use of digital payment channels. Ooredoo Maldives periodically runs such initiatives to strengthen customer engagement and drive service usage across its network.
As competition within the telecommunications sector remains strong, customer loyalty campaigns continue to play an important role in retaining subscribers and promoting consistent payment behaviour.
For consumers, the promotion offers a meaningful incentive tied to everyday transactions, while reinforcing the growing shift towards digital payments in the Maldives.
