The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced revised branch operating hours for the upcoming Ramadan period, assuring customers that all banking services will continue to be fully accessible through its digital platforms.
In a public announcement, BML stated that while customers are encouraged to use its online and mobile banking services, branches will remain open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on all working days during Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal for those who require in-person assistance.
The bank emphasized that its full range of services — including fund transfers, bill payments, card services, and account management — can be conveniently accessed online, allowing customers to carry out their transactions without needing to visit a branch.
BML further noted that special arrangements for branch opening days during the last 10 days of Ramadan will be announced at a later date.
The announcement comes as institutions across the country adjust working hours in observance of the holy month, with BML reaffirming its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted banking services while accommodating the spiritual and practical needs of customers during Ramadan.
