Ooredoo Maldives has officially handed over the highly anticipated iPhone 17 to customers who pre-ordered the device, hosting a midnight ceremony last night to mark the occasion.
The event, held
at Ooredoo’s head office, saw the first batch of iPhone 17 handovers to eager
customers. To heighten the excitement, Ooredoo also organized a special music
show open to the public, featuring performances by popular singer Bajiko and
artistic presentations by Falih.
Pre-orders for
the iPhone 17 series opened at 12:02 AM last Thursday via Ooredoo’s e-commerce
platform. According to the company, a large number of customers secured their
devices, particularly the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Ooredoo stated
that its annual iPhone campaigns aim to ensure Maldivians have swift access to
the latest technological innovations. The company highlighted that Apple
devices remain among the most sought-after in the country, and Ooredoo works to
provide opportunities for customers to purchase them every year.
With last
night’s ceremony, Ooredoo became one of the first providers in the Maldives to
deliver the iPhone 17 series to its customers.
